3-Heneral Luna

Heneral Luna is such a great film. They also hit the trend list on twitter and there are so many memes scattered on facebook.

Antonio Luna a.k.a Heneral Luna was a Filipino general who fought hard in the Philippine-American War. He was the youngest child of seven. He is considered as the most intelligent of the Filipino officers during the war. He is also part of the Malolos Congress. And Luna also studied literature, pharmacy, and chemistry.

Last October 8, 2015 after our class in Expository and Technical Writing we immediately went straight to Glorietta 4 to watch Heneral Luna because it is also a requirement in our EEP Class to make a blog about this movie. There are seven of us who watched the movie. When we went to the ticket booth to purchase a ticket we are shocked because there is no discount for students so we ended up paying for its regular price.

When we entered the cinema, the movie is already rolling so we run towards our seats quickly. Based on my observations I’ve noticed that Heneral Luna likes cursing and that’s kinda funny, even the elders at our back are laughing. I must say that Luna is a brave man. He doesn’t care about himself; he always fights for his countrymen. I also like the actors who portrayed the characters of Antonio Luna, Emilio Aguinaldo and Apolinario Mabini. Also the cinematography of the movie is superb! Then it really looks like they’re in the situation.

I want to give  10 high fives to all the characters, to the production company, and most especially to their director Mr. Jerrold Tarog. All of you produced a marvellous movie that captivated the hearts and minds of all Filipinos who watched. Another 10 high fives to you all!
